In 1995, when our founder, Brian Dwyer, was the Divisional President of a large Defense contractor, the company wanted to show their primary customer how technologically advanced they were. They built a web site, which was truly an innovation in that era. From that effort, Mr. Dwyer clearly understood the long-term potential of the Internet, and the effect it would have on business.
In late 1997, Mr. Dwyer left the company and began an exhausting six month effort to piece together the concept and strategy for this new venture. At the end of this process, with business plan in hand, Brian sought to prove his business model. Although others were raising unheard sums of capital on mere concepts, Brian knew from his vast business experience that throwing money towards an unproved business model was a sure track to failure. He subsequently spent the next year proving the viability of his ideas by providing small and medium size businesses with a variety of Internet services, and doing so at an affordable price.
Mr. Dwyer's commitment to bring value to the marketplace has caused InteractOne to thrive where most others have failed.
