The Challenge

Tai Ping wanted to create a new website where their Edward Fields customers could log in to a private portal, shop available stock carpets and create custom samples.

The internal team at Tai Ping had worked to create this new site, but they were unable to develop a custom front-end design for Magento. When key stakeholders were unhappy with the design style and user interface of the website, they reached out to InteractOne to reboot the project.

Our Solution

InteractOne took over the website redesign for the new Edward Fields site. We began by removing the third-party template and developing a new, custom design. This new theme was tailored to meet the requirements of Tai Ping’s key stakeholders. Next, InteractOne installed the Amasty Improved Layered Navigation extension to provide multi-attribute selection filtering. Finally, InteractOne coded the custom design for responsive display on mobile, tablet and desktop devices.

Throughout the project, InteractOne guided the Tai Ping in-house design team—who had little experience with Magento—to develop a custom design with custom coding that could be completed within the project’s budget. InteractOne also provided Tai Ping with training about the catalog and CMS page management.

The Results

Tai Ping’s new website now allows customers to log in to a private portal, shop available stock carpets and create custom samples.

Tai Ping’s in-house design team—as well as their key stakeholders—love the new, improved, custom-designed, visually compelling user experience and user interface. They are thrilled to see their vision for the Edward Fields website come to life.

Magento 1 to Magento 2 Migration

    Air Force Museum

    Magento 2 Migration & More

Located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio, the Air Force Museum is the oldest and largest military aviation museum in the world, with more than 360 aircraft and missiles on display. The museum collects and presents the Air Force’s history and traditions through engaging exhibits, special programs and more.

    The Challenge

The Air Force Museum’s website was operating on a version of Magento 1. With Magento ending ongoing support for M1 sites in 2020, the Museum site management team wanted to upgrade to Magento 2. However, the Air Force Museum’s previous developer lacked the necessary experience in supporting Magento and was unable to undertake the steps necessary to successfully  migrate the site to Magento 2. The project included the following scope requirements and features: site design (UX/UI) migration, data migration, the installation and troubleshooting of M2 versions of extensions in use on the M1 site and point-of-sale/shopping cart integration migration.

    Our Solution

InteractOne successfully upgraded the Air Force Museum to the latest version of Magento 2, specifically developing and implementing design, data and extension migrations. In doing so, InteractOne helped work through various issues with the data migration related to the point-of-sale integration. InteractOne also provided training to Air Force Museum team members about how to manage and add/edit/delete products on the new Magento 2 site.

    The Results

This project was well executed and delivered on time and on budget. According to John Flynn, Air Force Museum eCommerce Specialist and primary project stakeholder: “InteractOne has been nothing short of absolutely exceptional to work with on this project.”

With the migration to the Magento 2 platform, the Air Force Museum’s new eCommerce website loads quickly and provides a great user experience for site visitors. The new website is an ideal representation of the great legacy of the Air Force Museum, and InteractOne is proud to work with such a noble, long-standing organization.

InteractOne was tasked with fixing their Magento 2 site; removing technical debt, including bugs, deployment and performance issues.

Medelita – Premium Lab Coats & Scrubs

      Magento 2.2.11 Upgrade

Medelita launched their first line of high-quality scrub sets and lab coats in 2008. The product lines were designed for women in health care who excel in their field and take pride in their appearance. Medelita quickly followed with the launch of a men’s line in 2009 and the brand has been growing in name and notoriety ever since. Headquartered in Laguna Hills, California, Medelita continues to create medical uniforms that empower the medical community to look and perform their best.

      THE CHALLENGE

Medelita was operating on a Magento 2.2 website that was riddled with issues and bugs. The existing UX/UI left much to be desired, including performance issues with their shopping cart and a checkout process that was costing the company many conversions. The site was also a security liability, lacking in the most recent updates and patches. The site’s previous developers lacked experience with Magento 2, leaving it filled with technical debt, including bugs, deployment and performance issues.

      Our Solution

InteractOne installed Magento Version 2.2.11, which updated the security patches and addressed the existing security issues. We also created new features to allow  Medelita  customers to edit product configuration (size, color, embroidery) options while in the shopping cart and on return merchandise agreements (RMAs). ERP integration enhancements were also implemented along with Magento B2B features for company accounts, shared catalogs and user permissions. In addition the Mageworx SEO Suite was installed to help with SEO improvements. Click here to see the completed site.

        Medals of America

InteractOne was tasked with building an entirely new, totally responsive
        Magento 2 website.

        Medals of America

        Magento 2 Site Build

In 1976, Medals of America was created by Army Veteran Colonel Frank Foster and his wife, Linda after repeated requests for shadow boxes from friends with Veteran relatives. Based on these requests, the Medals of America business model was initially built on shadow boxes alone, but soon grew to include t-shirts, hats, dog tags, tactical and range gear, and much more—including products from Nike, Under Armour, and New Era.

InteractOne’s all-new Magento 2 site design helped solve a host of performance-related issues that often led to high cart abandonment rates, giving Medals of America greater functionality and reliability, along with an improved path-to-purchase process.

        The Challenge

Medal of America’s previous Magento 2 website was plagued with problems such as over customization and other coding issues that often led to their website crashing.

InteractOne recommended an entirely new Magento 2 website to Medals of America that resolved their performance issues by cleaning up the backend of the site and eliminating unnecessary extensions which slowed down the previous site.

        Our Solution

InteractOne provided Medals of America with an all-new Magento 2 website that sported faster load times and no longer suffered from frequent crashes. Custom builders created by a previous developer for Medal’s ribbon products were cleaned up to load faster, dramatically increasing revenue from those products.

InteractOne also provided Medals of America with an easier-to-edit frontend by replacing their over-customized theme with a simpler one. To ensure that Medals of America employees were able to efficiently utilize the new site, InteractOne provided Magento training in conjunction with the site build.
